Convention and Family Reunion

Focus on The Family!

July 15-17, 2024 the Southern Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association, along with the cemetery associations from Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee will host their annual convention and family reunion at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa in South Carolina.

At our 2024 convention we will be Focusing on Family.

2024 Convention Agenda

Our presentations will focus on the families we serve, through service, sales, events, aftercare, etc.

Just as important, will be our focus on our own families. We will be arranging several family activities for our attendees and their families. Our goal is to promote this as a family vacation, family destination, family reunion, with tons of family fun. Some of the ideas already out there are wakeboarding lessons, sandcastle building, dolphin watching cruises, pirate ship adventures, jet ski rentals, sip-n-paint a beach scene, and more. Our convention committee is hard at work lining up a great family getaway for you.

Opening Reception: Attire - Casual (No cut offs or flip flops) Families welcome, even if the kids are not registered. Adults must have a ticket. All Full Registrations include a ticket.

General Session/Meetings: Attire - Business Casual (dress shorts okay) - Plan for air conditioning in the ballroom.

Dinner Banquet: Attire - Dressy casual - Like you would wear to a nice restaurant. Open collar or polo shirts for the men. Dresses, skirts, slacks or dressy capris for the ladies. No cutoffs or flip flops.

Please note that booth size is 8' x 8'. If you need additional space for your display, please contact us to work out some type of arrangement.

The booths will NOT accommodate a 10' display. If you have any special requests for exhibiting, please reach out to our office. We will try to accommodate your request.

Annual Memorial Service

We will host our 2024 Annual Celebration of Remembrance Service on Wednesday, July 17th at noon at during the general session. If you have someone you would like to include in this service, please complete the attached form and email it to our office with the items listed at the bottom of the form no later than May 15th. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on your loss.
