Convention and Family Reunion

July 13-15, 2025 the Southern Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association, along with the cemetery associations from North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia will host their annual convention and family reunion at Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort in South Carolina.

Our theme this year is Camp Southern. If you attended last year, you know how much fun our families enjoyed with all the activities. So, we are here to continue the fun this year. Bring your family to the beach! Our schedule will allow for free time, and your hotel amenities include the pools and water parks at all of the adjoining Kingston Plantation Resorts.

ATTIRE:

Opening Reception: Attire - Casual (No cut offs or flip flops) Families welcome, even if the kids are not registered. Adults must have a ticket. All Full Registrations include a ticket.

General Session/Meetings: Attire - Business Casual (dress shorts okay) - Plan for air conditioning in the ballroom. 

Dinner Banquet: Attire - Dressy casual - Like you would wear to a nice restaurant. Open collar or polo shirts for the men. Dresses, skirts, slacks or dressy capris for the ladies. No cutoffs or flip flops.

We have sold out of our traditional pipe-and-drape booths. However, we just added 10 table top exhibit spaces in the front foyer of the convention hall. These exhibit spaces are 10' wide and come with a 6' draped table and two chairs. If you know The Southern, you know that we work hard to keep attendee traffic flowing to all exhibit spaces, and this year will be no exception. Five of the tables are already sold to the suppliers on our waiting list. So, if you are interested download and complete the registration form today.

Please note that are traditional booth size is 8' x 8'. If you need additional space for your display, please contact us to work out some type of arrangement.

The booths will NOT accommodate a 10' display. If you have any special requests for exhibiting, please reach out to our office. We will try to accommodate your request.

Annual Memorial Service 

We will host our 2025 Annual Celebration of Remembrance Service on Tuesday, July 15th at 12:30 during the general session. If you have someone you would like to include in this service, please complete the attached form and email it to our office with the items listed at the bottom of the form no later than June 6th. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on your loss.
